An additional reason to boycott these companies is that they use genetically modified (GM) ingredients in their products, and the FDA (because of heavy lobbying by the food manufacturers) refuses to mandate labeling of products containing GM ingredients. GM ingredients are harmful to humans, animals, and the environment.

DeleteI didn't believe my husband when he told me this. He had always drunk pepsi. Look up the Pepsi site (I did) and it will tell you what is in them. Needless to say i haven't bought a pepsi since then. I am still working on getting a list of foods that has gmo's.

OK, so, you make me read this, but it say within the article that the cells are used to test the flavor, not a constituent of the actual flavor, as the title, and the context from which the author is writing implemented. It is well known that GMO can be dangerous, but not all, because simply naturally cross pollinating any plant with another, makes it's offspring technically GMO. To petition something, you should actually know about it, and not write something too short too sweet to actually have any compelling evidence of what you are stating. Hey, there is always the southern states though!
